Many People are Educated but not all well mannered

Dear Readers,

A very very warm welcome to all of you. Let us just very quickly jump to our today’s topic that “Many people are educated but not all well mannered”
Actually in today’s fast and furious world, the words are so much mixed with another that we don’t know what that specific word actually means. Let’s suppose I write a word here, “CRITICAL ANALYSIS”, many of the people would think that it means “TO CRITICIZE”, as the word is Critical Analysis and we are so fast at criticizing and judging each other. That’s where we are wrong. “CRITICAL ANALYSIS” actually means to analyze something totally from head to toe and then find out the pros and cons. To find out that either that thing is according to its purpose or there is something missing. To have a detailed study on some topic is the CRITICAL ANALYSIS.

I have mentioned the above example to make the point clear that now a days Education has nothing to do with manners. I am sorry if I am going against someone’s opinion but this is the truth and I’ll definitely explain why it is so. Lets have a look over some scenarios,

1– EDUCATION HAS JUST BECAME THE BOOKISH KNOWLEDGE:

Education now a days has become the matter of business, now it has become totally empty without any ethics and morals. We are behind it just to get our degrees and then jobs and then to become financially stable and hence we have joined the never ending race. Bookish knowledge is just the 10% of education. Education actually is a combination of knowledge, manners, professional as well as personal ethics and morals and most importantly it is the way to understand the purpose that why we actually exist?? What is the purpose behind it? If you are an Engineer, what is you purpose, if you are a lawyer, what is the reason behind it?, if you are a doctor there must be certain purpose behind it…. The day we start knowing the purpose we will definitely bring professional ethics to our education which are now a days missing.

Let me just explain it through a simple example, there is a Civil Engineer (who was the topper of his batch) He was assigned the task to build up a bridge, he used his bookish knowledge to build the bridge, the bridge was well build but one day suddenly there was a mishap and that bridge collapsed. Everyone was astonished that the designs were perfect so how could this happen, what actually was the reason that the Engineer didn’t use the quality material which resulted in the mishap. No matter he was the topper or well educated, he killed his professional morals, ethics and manners just for few rupees. Actually he was unaware of the fact that he became engineer to serve the country, for the safety of public and humanity. But he just studied to make money out of it and made people’s life to the stake…

2– THERE ARE EDUCATIONAL STATUS SET OUT THERE:

Now a days people have set a trend that the one who is becoming a doctor is the best, the D pharmacist is inferior to him,then DPT is further inferior to the former and the trend go on. Same goes for the different fields of Engineering and the Arts and Humanities are considered no where. Why is this so, Every person is best in himself and competent for his work, If there are only Engineers all out there, then who is going to look after you if suddenly you undergo some disease (GOD Forbids), if there are only the technicians in news channels who is going to write the news in perfect wording certainly it would be literature person. Forget about all this, if a tap runs out we aren’t able to fix that on our own, we look for the Plumber. All these examples are to make sure that every person has his importance.

But in our society the well mannered behavior is decided on the basis of the designation. If you are at a some high profile designation, you would never talk in the same tone to your worker as you would talk to your boss. I mean how is your behavior so unequally divided between two different designation. Professional Morals are entirely dead here, doesn’t matter if you had 4/4 CGPA, if you haven’t got the manners how to deal with people regardless of their designation, that bookish knowledge is totally useless.

3– TODAY’S STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOR:

I am totally astonished at today’s students’ behavior. They have totally forgot what they have been taught in their school. No manners at all how to talk to the teachers. It hurts me straight in the heart that they have just one thing to say, “WE HAVE PAID THE FEES, WHO ARE OTHERS TO TELL US WHAT TO DO?”

I mean seriously, Have you purchased the education?. I have seen students studying the course of Engineering, but how they behave with the lab attendants in an ill mannered way. Just because they are lab attendants, doesn’t mean they don’t deserve respect. They are perfectly doing what has been assigned to them, who are us to disrespect them. We are highly getting educated but morally we are extremely poor.

Similarly, students do misbehave with the Guards out there who check their students’ cards just for students’ own safety purpose. But students again behave so harshly with them.Trust me those people are standing for you the whole day and night, just for you, and in return what are you giving to them… This is a moment of thinking are we doing right, are we even on the right track……

4- LIFELESS THINGS ARE MORE IMPORTANT NOW A DAYS:

People now a days give so sudden reactions. The don’t even care that what the other person is going to feel. If someone’s car is by mistake hit by some biker, that person will surely beat him to death no matter how much the biker is apologizing. Because his lifeless car is more important to him than the person.

My heart bleeds when I am writing this that a very well educated family beat their maid UZMA TO DEATH, just because she took a bite from the plate of her owner’s daughter. Was that piece of food more important than that girl’s life, and that girl who had been serving that family for 8 months. How couldn’t these brutal people feel for her.Education is dead here. Purposeless and Meaningless. There are many more cases like that. Wake up people wake up…

Our Creator Allah Almighty has created us for each and other. We have to feel it and start respecting everyone out there. Only then we’ll become successful actually other wise we will continue to live without any purpose and the only purpose of life is to “RESPECT AND LOVE OTHERS”……
